Noi / interactive book

Il progetto nasce dall’osservazione del comportamento di oggetti fotorealistici in ambienti digitali, e dalla possibilità di interagire con essi simulando il mondo “reale” al fine di rendere coinvolgente l’esperienza proposta.  Immersi in un’atmosfera magica, un libro dalle pagine bianche prende vita grazie all’interazione con l’utente che pagina dopo pagina scopre il contenuto nascosto.

Fulcro dell’operazione il testo poetico (“Noi” di Carmina Esposito) reso con animazioni che giocano sul senso delle parole proponendo nuove e possibili soluzioni linguistiche.

Le lettere diventano segni, le parole
concetto, le animazioni emozioni. 

Una delle finalità di questo progetto è quella di avvicinare alla poesia un’utenza giovane o lontana dal mondo letterario; un nuovo approccio quindi alla divulgazione poetica. Rigoroso lo studio sulle ombre delle pagine che hanno donato al libro un’ aspetto realistico, l’idea della tridimensionalità è data da due ombre proprie e due portate che sincronicamente si spostano insieme a una terza pagina scorrendo sulle prime due. Altrettanto importante è stato lo studio sull’interazione al fine di far reagire in modo naturale e fluido il movimento e la caduta delle pagine.

The project was born from the observation of the behaviour of photorealistic objects in digital environment, and from the possibility of interact with them simulating the “real”  world in order to make the proposal experience absorbing. Immersed in a magic atmosphere, a book with blank pages comes to life thanks to the interaction with the user who page after page finds out the hidden content.

Fulcrum of the operation of the poetic text (“Us” by Carmina Esposito) made by animations that play on the words’ sense suggesting new and possible linguistic solutions.

The letters become signs, the words
concept, the animations emotions.

One of the purposes of this project is to let the young or the people far from the literary world come up to the poetry; a new approach to the poetic divulgation. The rigorous study on the pages’  shadow gave to the book a realistic look, the idea of three-dimensionality is given from two own shadows and two taken moving synchronically along with a third page sliding on the first two. Equally important has been the study about the interaction in order to make the movement and the fall of the pages natural and fluent.
