The cultural exchange between Baccaro Art Gallery and Cultural Association MM18, targeting an innovative route to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the exhibition space, supports the proposal artistic Black out of the duo Max and Margaret Coppeta Peluso.
Black out and 'the second leg of aesthetic journey / performance entitled "The invisible cities" Max and Margaret Coppeta Peluso. The canvas of this exhibition is taken from chapter Thin Cities .1 book Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino.
The Black out indicates an interruption in this case is understood to be synonymous with time still, where man is confronted with the limits of its ability to explain natural events, social and individual interfering with its very existence.
This suspension dimension leads us to the knowledge of the human capacity to transcend the immediate experience (here and now) in order to understand the true self at that moment, losing the reference to the memory (the past) and expectation (future). Renew generates a new cosmic order.
Black-out, we can also translate as "black out", black is a point of no return, it is a color value beyond which you can not go. The black color is the sum of all colors, it includes all the possibilities of color, but denied any possibilistic deviation. This is the stage of awareness and vision reveals to us in the present, the past.
In the works of Max Coppeta black is a point of arrival from crystal transparency, marks and scratches that affect snow-white surfaces where before the light has left its mark, bygone memory and transformed beyond repair. Understanding suggests the echo still present, small poems from a distant universe.
Margherita Peluso, bases its artistic experience in anthropological research, uses processes, languages and techniques to arrive at the origin of the events in their Repeatable. Of fundamental importance is the observation of other cultures, to develop the concept of pre-expressivity, and reworking a research on adaptation, and on excess of conscience influences. The performative action is a ritual to transform the experience of psychic flow in the matter, until you come to a spiritual realization.
Black Out is an evolution in the change. New state of consciousness in reversible time.
